1. SCOPE OF WORKS & EXCLUSIONS

Unless explicitly stated in the written quotation, the following items are excluded:

Hazardous Materials: No works will be carried out in or on asbestos-containing materials.

Site asbestos checks and clearances are required before works begin.

Existing Infrastructure: Re-wiring or repair of existing cabling/plumbing found to be faulty

due to age, rodents, or non-compliant works installed by others.

Authority & Utility Charges: Any liaising with supply authorities or electricity retailers to

establish or modify connections to suit the proposed works.

Latent Conditions: Physical conditions on the site which could not have been reasonably

anticipated at the time of quoting.

Access Equipment: EWP and access equipment hire unless specifically noted within the

quotation.

Standard Operating Hours: Works are quoted based on an agreed-upon standard day

performed between the hours of 6:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public

holidays.

Overtime (OT) Rates: Industry-standard overtime rates apply for any work performed

beyond a standard day's duration or for any travel and labour conducted outside of the

6:00 am - 6:00 pm window.

Technical Input: Any suggestions, layouts, or preliminary technical input provided by Vertra

are for guidance and illustrative purposes only.

Final Approval: Responsibility for the final design, engineering, and compliance sign-off

rests solely with the client or the client's nominated authorised engineer.

Discrepancies: Vertra accepts no responsibility for discrepancies in provided plans or

items not shown on primary electrical/trade plans.

Security of Payment: This quotation is subject to the conditions outlined in the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 2002 (Vic) and all subsequent amendments.

Late Payment Interest: Vertra Pty Limited reserves the right to charge interest on any

overdue amount at the rate fixed under Section 2 of the Penalty Interest Rates Act 1983

(Vic) (currently 10% per annum), calculated daily from the due date until the date of full

payment.

Recovery Costs: The client agrees to indemnify Vertra for all costs and expenses (including

but not limited to debt collection commissions and legal costs on a solicitor-client basis)

incurred in the recovery of any outstanding funds.

Retention of Title: All materials remain the property of Vertra Pty Limited until paid for in full. Vertra reserves the right to enter the site to remove unpaid materials if payment terms are breached.

Estimated Delivery: Lead times for premium equipment (EV chargers, generators, HVAC

units) are estimates provided by manufacturers and are subject to change.

Delays: Vertra is not liable for project delays caused by global shipping disruptions,

manufacturer stock shortages, or site delays caused by other trades or tenant equipment.

Warranty Scope: Vertra's warranty extends only to circuits and equipment we have

supplied and installed.

Third-Party Works: Any work completed by others on wiring or equipment installed by

Vertra will void the provided warranty.

Maintenance: All product warranties are contingent upon the client maintaining
